Rolando and Eleanor Blancas
The BLANCAS family arrived in San Antonio, Zambales in 1952. Freddie worked with Pomeroy
as tractor operator to clear West Dirita for the construction of the US naval base. Later, he was
employed at the CPO Club in San Miguel Base as maintenance man. Rolando joined the US Navy in 1969
and petitioned his parents to join him in Honolulu, Hawaii. Arnel, Willie, and Rolando completed a
combined 75 years of naval service. Ofelia is married to Abraham Pascasio. Levi lives in National City.
Edith enjoys life in Winnipeg.
