2006 SEP 6, Chula Vista - Just two days after stepping off the plane at LAX, Tata Condring was already blowing the candles atop his Tiramisu birthday cake. Talk about celebrating with family. On Friday morning, September 1st he was enjoying his Manila Bulletin while sipping his cup of Nescafe in San Antonio. On Sunday afternoon, September 3rd, with his wife Ador by his side, tata Condring was already entertaining his guests in Chula Vista, California at the residence of Albert and Emiluz.
Tata Condring wasn't the only one doing the entertaining... he was
also entertained by his guests. His Abalayan Conching Reyes read a
poem for The Man of the moment while Grandson Luigi sang Poprocks and Coke.
Of course, the medley of Ilocano Songs by family and friends led by
Alice Pascasio-Peregrino and Ernie Padua made the celebrant smile
and hum to the good old tunes. Among those in the impromptu choral group were: Gigi and Libby Lucero, Flora Justiniano, Efren Pascasio, Titang Evangelista, Ador Arino, Nena Ferrer Novilla, Kelly Canonizado, Lily Canonizado-Villamayor, Lerida Magsaysay, and Norma Canonizado-Paulo.
Grandsons Alberto Luiz (Luigi) and Andrei Yuri were glad to help their Lolo
blow his birthday candles while son-in-law Albert was just ready to assist in
cutting the cake. While loving wife Adore made sure that the buffet table is well-replenished
with the lechon, chicken cordon blue, pasta, salad, fruits, and many more... daughter Emiluz made sure the guests took turns in the karaoke singing and that guests received a box of the give-away confection and a bagful of food-to-go.
Among the other San Antonians spotted at the party were Medy and Lito Pascasio,
Joey and Rowena Casiano, Ben and Mina Maggay, Norma and Eddie Paulo of Vallejo, Conching Pascasio,
Ferdz Canonizado, Monett Duque, Mar Duque, Boo and Leesa Lee with daughter Ruby, Alice Licudan with
Mom Luz Estacio-Canonizado and daughter Hazel, Lucia Justiniano and daughter
Lorna Pascasio, Perla and Manny Orquia, Venencio Novilla and family, and Sonny Justiniano.
