Christening - Nathan Casiano Grasparil
Nathan, OCT 2006 2006 OCT 7, Chula Vista - The new addition to the Casiano family, Nathan Angelo was Christened. Parents Melvin and Jaime Casiano-Grasparil hosted a party at the residence of proud grandparents Joey and Rowena Casiano in Chula Vista.

Dr. Margie Fabunan Moran

2006 SEP - Dr. Margie Fabunan Moran graduated from San Diego State University Class 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. In 2005, she obtained her Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in Sleepy Rock University in Pennsylvania. It was on September 2006 that she passed the nationwide test given in Nevada.

Dr. Margie Moran, daughter of Josie Fabunan and retired CWO4 Gil Moran, is currently working at the Summerlin Rehabilitation Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The San Antonians of San Diego wish to Congratulate Dr. Margie Moran and her family. We are proud of you Margie!

2006 OCT, Chula Vista - Officer Erwin Peregrino, Jr. graduated from the Miramar College Police Training Institute in October 2006 and is now with the Chula Vista Police Department. He is the son of Erwin and Alice Peregrino. He is married to Hazel Gregorio whose parents Rennie and Tessie were stationed at San Miguel Naval Communications Station in 1979. Hazel was then born in Cubi and baptized at the San Antonio Catholic Church. One of her ninangs was Mrs. Norma Domingo Tabinga of Burgos.

Obituary - Adelina Ferrer Cabiles

2006 OOCT 30, San Antonio - Adelina Cabiles passed away on October 30 leaving behind her sons Noli and Norman Cabiles. Saddened by her demise are her daughters-in-law Edna Alegre (married to Noli) and Clemen Domingo (married to Norman). When Nana Adelina or Deling, as she was fondly called by relatives and friends, she was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Al Edward, Patrick, Norman Jr. and the only granddaughter Joanna.

Nana Deling Cabiles was the eldest among 9 siblings and seh left behind Eduardo, Socorro or Coring (who now resides in Davao), Jose, leonila, Bonifacio, Wilfredo, Corazon, and Benito, Jr.

Nana Deling was given a big birthday bash by her children in celebration of her 83nd birthday just last October 14th. The party prepared for her was like a debutante's ball and surely Nana felt like one especially when she danced with hre sons. The moment will forever be treasured by her sons and grandchildren who were all there to be with her on that happy occasion.

Nana Deling or Deling, as she was fondly called by family and friends, lived in the States. She wa a devoted grandmother. She lived in San Diego for a while and joined other friends during September dinner-dance. Family and friends will surely miss her lively and jovial personality.
