Q: San Diego orignated the first San Antonians association, no?
A: Yes, we were the first and original San Antonians. Later LASA and NORCAL were formed.

Q: What does the acronym SASDCI mean?
A: San Antonians of San Diego County, Inc. -- The original name was "The San Antonians" but was later officially incorporated as SASDCI.

Q: What is the mission of SASDCI?
A: To unite fellow San Antonians together (through planned famly events) and helps support the town of San Antonio, Zambales -- through fundraising events and charitable contributions.

Q: Do you have to be from San Antonio, Zambales to join?
A: No, but all members are generally related to someone from San Antonio.

Q: How much are membership dues?
A: Annual rate of $5.00 per person; $10 per couple.

Q: What are the benefits of being a member?
A: Fun Activities -- everyone (non-member, too) can attend all the events.

Q: How are the donations managed and distributed?
A: Dr. Adore Pascasio oversees the Scholarship Program in San Antonio with the assistance of Ms. Marietta Tejada.

Q: Does SASDCI have any influence on the use of the funds?
A: Yes, officers (and members present) will vote at the meetings. Funds raised (e.g., teen contests) are set aside and committed for a specific beneficiary.

Q: How do I get something posted on the website?
A. Contact SASDCI correspondence secretary, Pachee Padua, and submit your article, photos for review.

Q: What content is acceptable for the web?
A: Short, scannable, to the point (rather than full of fluffy marketese or long, colorful paragraphs). People do not want to scroll down a long page and read a book.

Published newsletter content and web content are developed differently; web content is suited for the web but not for newsletters, publishing brochures, etc.
